| Strengths & Weaknesses. Discovering Yourself Through An Astrological Lens. |

The term ‘discovering yourself’ may provoke different feelings for everyone.

Why do I need to ‘discover myself’?

Surely I am my own master expert, how could this show me anything I don’t already know?

Well, in my humble life experience, I’ve found people spend a lot of time either avoiding, questioning, ignoring, selectively choosing their idea of who they are. We cannot see ourselves clearly ALL the time, and claiming that you can, is laughable.

Your birth chart will honestly highlight where you are strong, and also, where you need to do the work. It will not tell you the lottery numbers, make decisions for you, or give you a magical solution. However, it will be VERY CLEAR on where your focus on self development should be, and this is enormously helpful.

Here’s some discoveries I made early on in working on my own chart, that weren’t necessarily welcome at first, but that undeniably rang true. Through acceptance, understanding, and informed adjustment, I’ve been able to transform many of these weaknesses. And if I can do it, you can too.

- While I’m a highly efficient person, when it comes to work and projects I’m not the most organized, which can cause me delays. This is a strength in the idea that I’ve got lots of energy and ready to put in the effort, but a weakness in the sense that I cause myself lots of unneeded frustration in the process.

- I’m gullible. Like, really gullible. Try as I might (and I have), I just don’t have a suspicious nature. This is a strength in the sense that I’m open to people, but a definite liability in boundaries. I’m still mastering this one!

- I don’t enjoy working in a team. There, I said it. I’m an independent worker, forger and soul. This is wonderful for trailblazing and decisiveness, but shockingly I’ve come to realized that I don’t know everything. I’vere c`ome to value the immense connection that can come in collaboration.

These are just some examples, there are so many more! I’m always going to be a work in progress, but understanding my chart feels kind of like having a flashlight in the dark, or maybe even having a best friend that knows you inside out. Astrology is a gift, and it’s up to us if we care to utilize it or not.
