Where will you choose to stretch your life this year?
We've got some big questions to answer!
On Monday (Feb 5th) Mercury moves out of Capricorn and into Aquarius- shifting the Mind and Intellect from Earth to Air, Yin to Yang, traditional to futuristic. Mercury in Aquarius thinks outside of the box. How can we do things differently? How can we break the mold?
Venus in Capricorn is also squaring Chiron in Aries, creating tension between the Goddess of Love and Beauty and the Wounded Healer. Things may abruptly rise to the surface in relationships, around self-worth and self-love, or around money and abundance consciousness.
Venus in Capricorn possesses a strong inclination towards tradition, stability, and loyalty. However, it is possible for her to occasionally resort to outdated methods and cling to the past due to concerns regarding safety and security. These tendencies may become apparent at present. If there exists a fear of embracing change, fear of asserting oneself or leaving a situation, or fear of pursuing independence, the opportunity to confront and overcome these fears is currently available.
Mercury also makes a conjunction today with Pluto at 0’29 Aquarius, aligning the Mind and Intellect with the Lord of the Underworld. This is the first of 3 very powerful conjunctions of Personal Planets to Pluto in Aquarius. It is an important month to PAY ATTENTION to what is occurring as it can prove insightful about the 19 year cycle ahead of us of Pluto through Aquarius.
Today's conjunction occurs at the exact degree and minute as the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in December 2020. Make connections between what was initiated or started during that time and what is now being realized, both on a personal level and as a whole. Engaging in conversations around this can be profound, transformative, and enlightening. However, it is important to be cautious as these discussions can also intensify power struggles.
On Wednesday, the Nodes of the Moon are squared by Venus in Capricorn. When a planet squares the Nodes, we often find ourselves at a crossroads where we must decide between the past and the future. It can be tempting to revert back to the past, especially with the South Node in Libra, which is ruled by Venus. However, excessive people-pleasing, prioritizing harmony at all costs, and maintaining superficial appearances can have consequences. On the other hand, the North Node in Aries encourages us to confront things directly. It is important to make a wise choice in this matter, however it may be manifesting for you.
On Thursday (Feb 8th), Uranus, the planet associated with revolution and disruption, will form a square with the Sun. These occurrences happen twice a year and often leave us astonished as our carefully made plans are completely altered. I like to compare Sun/Uranus squares to Mercury retrogrades on cocaine. This particular square will be especially powerful due to its close proximity to the New Moon in Aquarius (Feb 9th). This indicates that something unexpected and hidden will have a significant impact.
Although this may sound distressing, it's important to note that Sun/Uranus squares can bring both breakdowns and breakthroughs.
If it's a breakdown, view this square as the only way to escape a situation that has controlled your life for months.
And if it's a breakthrough? Consider it as a reward for all the challenges you've had to overcome.
The New Moon in Aquarius will occur on February 9th, coinciding with Lunar Imbolc and the start of the Chinese New Year. This New Moon will be accompanied by Mercury and Pluto in Aquarius, signifying the initiation of the Pluto in Aquarius journey and the next phase in the Age of Aquarius on Earth. Additionally, the New Moon forms a square aspect with Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, intensifying the impact of unforeseen and sudden transformations. It is crucial to remain receptive to the unexpected and embrace change throughout the upcoming Lunar Cycle.
There will be a podcast episode on this New Moon and it's aspects dropping later this week, so stay tunes for that!
Much love,
xx
